Late season competitions were held where there were enough teams coached by teachers who were not participating in industrial action; the winners were: U9 - Churwell; U11 - Churwell; U12 - Holt Park; U13 - Bramley C/E.

The industrial action also caused the suspension of competitions organised by H&MSRL in 1986-87.
